Happy Halloween!

Jared had an MPA halloween party on Wednesday night so we got to see the kids in their costumes a little bit earlier then on halloween night!
Caleb was a little blue-eyed Dalmation! He loved getting to wear make up.

Jacob was a little duckling!

Caleb told me the next day that he wanted the makeup on his eyes again.

Happy Birthday Jared!

We started the day off with a big hearty breakfast! Jared had sausage, eggs, pancakes, biscuits, and a tall glass of orange juice.
Then, dinner is when the real party began.
O.k. so dinner wasn't done before I had to pick Jared up from school, but it was his favorite dinner so he was still happy.
On the menu for tonight we have:
Steak
Mashed Potatoes with Garlic
**Fried Okra**
Poppy Seed Salad
And to drink:
Jared's favorite "White Grape Peach"
(served in wine a goblet)
Then of course came the cake and icecream...

Caleb loved helping me with the writing! Isn't it beautiful!

And of course the singing, "Happy Birthday to you!..."

Caleb sang his heart out, and Jacob mummbling sounds in the background! Jacob loves to sing but unfortunately he doesn't always knoe all the words!

We'll need lots of wind to blow out all those candles, better get a second blower, maybe a third (jacob in the back).

There weren't any pictures of the presents and these next pictures were actually the next day because it got a little late for all of us.

This is the pumpkin Jared carved.

Scary!

And this one was mine.

??Boy or Girl??

Baby number 3!!
The toe! Notice the second toe is longer then the big toe! The baby takes after me and Audre'!
Our second toe is longer then our big toe as well.

Notice the yellow arrow pointing to where you should be looking!
Can you guess?

Happy Birthday Amy!

One of the things that I really liked about living in Rexburg and here in Provo is having family near by! Amy's birthday was on Monday and we got to celebrate with her for her 20th birthday!
Caleb loves having Amy over. I think he talks to her non-stop! One of his favorite things was singing to her!

The Duck Pond

Caleb and Jacob like to feed the ducks!

and the ducks like being fed!

Can you find Jacob?

There are even some baby ducks!

"Bye, bye ducks!" I guess we got too close.

We saw the "Aflec" duck for car insurance!

We also saw turtles!

"Hey, get back duck!"

"Phew! That was a close one"

"Let's chase the ducks, Jacob"

"Uh oh! Jacob fall down!"

"That's o.k. we can sit here a while"

And slowly, one by one...

...the ducks started coming back.

"Hi duckies!!"

"OOO, Look at that one, Caleb"

"Ya! I see it!""

That's a bit too close for Jacob

Luckily they don't sick around too long once they realize you don't have food to offer.

Jacob didn't want to stick around long enough for the ducks to find out!!

Caleb stayed with him for most of the time we were there. Caleb's a good big brother to his almost bigger , little brother!!

Jacob: "Look at that one Caleb!"
Caleb: "I'll get it"

"On second thought, maybe not."

Jacob's Adventures: Bath Time

"Hi, everyone and thanks for joining me for today's episode of Bath Time Adventures!"

"Now, we have to be sly and sneeky for this to work...

"...or sweet and innocent works too (so mommy doesn't suspect anything!)"

now let's see...

"Oh yes, Daddy likes to put this all over his face! Looks like fun!"

"But how does he get it to work?"

"Maybe you twist this thing..."

"Op, sorry guys! Guess that adventure was cut short. Time to do my hair!"

"That's it for today's show! Tune in next week for fun at the duck pond!"

Glasses?

Caleb needs glasses? Not really! Jared was looking at some frames while we were at walmart so the boys tried on some glasses too while we waited.
Jacob: "Wow, I think Caleb just aged 2 years!"
Jacob:"Ya, look at me in my badself!"
Caleb:"Jacob's so silly!"

Jacob: "Wow! Would you look at that cute baby in that mirror!"

Bath Time

Caleb: "Bubbles in my hair, Mom!"
Caleb: "More more"
Lots of Bubbles
Caleb: "Bubbles for Jacob"

Caleb: "Scrub scrub scrub... hey! doin' Jacob?"
Caleb: "Hey Jacob! that's my weener!"
Caleb: " Oh, now i've got water in my eyes!"
Jacob: "Huh huh huh, sorry Caleb"
Jacob: " Hey Caleb.... I think I've got one too!!"

Prego Belly (part 1)

Here are some pictures for those interested to see, my prego belly at 21 weeks along! Not very big yet, thank goodness!

This next picture Jared said looks like it hurts cause you can see the stretch marks form the previous two.

Welcome to our New Home!

Hello to friends and family. Let me give you a virtual tour (sorta) of our new home in Provo!

"Hello, my name is Jacob and I will be your tour guide today! this is the front door. Won't you come in."

"Here is the stair case and the piano.

"to the left of the stairs is the hall leading to the kitchen and back door.

"to the left of that is the living room. We love to pull all the toys and books out and make a mess in here! (Can you see my devious smile!)

"Back to the hall way, we'll look at the 1/2 bath, the coat closet and the "under the stairs closet".

"The first door on the left is our beautiful 1/2 bathroom, more like 1/4 bath. And if you step infront of the toilet and close the door it will reviel the sink, mirror and lights.

"Behind door number 1 on the right hand side is our coat closet. Moving on...

"Behind door number 2 on the right hand side, the wonderfully large, 'under-the-stairs' closet. If it doesn't have a spot it goes in here.

"Closing that door we find ourselves back in the hall way and entering the kitchen. Straight ahead is the back door...

"...and to the right is the dinning area. Sorry folks, this tour just made me so hungry I thought I'd stop for a bite to eat! My favorite place in the house.

"Have a seat and make yourselves comfy, the lady that works in here, or at least she spends a lot of time in here, will give you a cookie shortly. Seat down!

"Alright, moving on to the left of the back door we see the counter space and the sink.

"then if you just turn you body 45 degrees you see the fridge and the stove.

If you turned another 45 degrees you would be facing the wall to the left of the fridge where there is yet another spacious closet, bigger then our 1/4 bath. For those of you watching at home, sorry for the inconvenience, we forgot to take a picture of this closet. Don't worry, you're not missing much!

"Leaving the kitchen, we'll take a tour of the upstairs.

"yes and more stairs. It took me about a day to conquer them myself without any help from the nice lady that works here. I like to call her 'Mom'.

"Ah, at the top of the stairs we come to another hall way. "The first door on the right reviels the spare-room/ computer room/ sewing room/ quest room/ new baby room.

"It seems rather spacious right now but that's because there's no furniture in here. I have a feeling it will get small real quick. But me and Caleb love playing in here! There's a sewing machine with a bunch of nobs and cool gadgets to turn, the computer with more buttons to push, and there was a big air mattress in here that was fun to jump on, but Mom took that down. (sheesh! she always has to ruin our fun.)

and turning again 45 degrees to the right you see a closet. Now if you'll exit the room you find yourself once again...

...in the hall way. And behind door number two...

"My lovely little bedroom.

Here's my bed, with a teddy bear quilt that my mom made, and the teddy bears are actually soft teddy bears! And the beautiful changing table that someone gave to us. I like to lay on top!

"Here's Caleb's bed and yes another teddy bear quilt that my mom made in highschool that was the inspiration for the quilt on my bed. (She always has to make things match!)

"And my closet that Caleb likes to hide in and I find him!

"Oh, Good morning Caleb!"

Caleb: "what's going on?"

Jacob: "We're taking these nice people on a tour of the house. Would you like to come?"

Caleb: "No, thanks."

(I took all these pictues early in the moring while my house was still nice and clean).

Jacob, the tour guide: "Exiting my bedroom we find to the left of the stairs, yet another hall way!

"My mother is just loving all this closet space, so let me show you the linen closet that is also the closet for goods to take care of you when you have an owie or your tummy hurts. It's a good closet.

"and the towels, sheets, and games.

"Moving on from the linen closet, we find a door on the right.

This is the actual bathroom, fully equipted with all that you need in a bathroom and the space to walk around!!!

"Here's where mom keeps some cool stuff, like the mousse so she can do my hair on sunday, the tooth-brushes (really fun to use), and the toothpaste that Caleb loves to eat! he let me try some once; rather tastey, but mom has since hidden it from us!

"My other favorite place in the house: the bath tub. I love to splash every one so they get soaking wet; plus I like all the water in my face too. I don't think the others appreciate it much, but it's still fun!!!

"lets just take one more look.....!

"O.K. moving on! One of moms favorite things is this door right here leading into her bedroom. It also makes a nice circle that Caleb and I run around all the time. Sometimes I get knocked in the head but I get over it!

"Entering Mom's room,

"Suprisingly enough, the bed didn't take up the whole room!

(trying to show the large amount of space left over at the foot of the bed, not really working so moving on!)

"The other thing that get's mom going about this place is that the closet is so spacious, compared to the last one. Plenty of space to hang his and her's clothes, plus the sapcious depth at the bottom allowing a dresser or stackable things. You have to actually step inside the closet to reach the clothes; yet another great hiding place.

And here ends the virtual tour of the Floyd's residence. It's been fun, and we hope you come again soon!!!
"I'm just really sad to see you go!"

Ouch!!

"Does it look bad?"

"Dude, it feels huge!"

So while I was on the computer, Caleb and Jacob were wrestling on the floor next to me, both having a great time. Then they started running up and down the hall way, laughing and enjoying having a playmate. then I hear a loud thud and I just think to myself, "Oh no!", then the crying starts from Jacob and Caleb tells me, "uh oh! mommy, Jacob" and looking a little guilty, but with jacob being wabbly on his feet still I couldn't pin the act on Caleb. So I pick up Jacob and turn him around to see the damage done and heard myself say, "Oh my Gosh!!" The volume at which those words came out of my mouth, made me stop and look around, and then try to comfort the kids, at the thought that I might have scared them further with the sound of my voice.

the good news is that Jacob doesn't have a concusion, and he's acting his normal playful, calm self. (the wound looks a lot worse in person. These pictures were after I wiped away the dripping blood from his forehead.)

Potty Training?

Off and on we've been introducing Caleb to potty training but nothing serious. Then one day Caleb was such a big boy and used the toilet all day! We even went to the store and had zero accidents. However, it was very short lived, at 7:00pm we were out side playing and I guess he didn't want to take a break for the potty and...i'm sure you can guess the rest. Caleb had to be a big boy and clean out his underwear as well. So know when I ask Caleb if he wants to wear his underwear instead of a diaper he tells me," No peepy and no poopoo" (in his underwear that is, cause that's exactly what Mommy told him), so he opts out for the diaper. I guess he realized the diapers are the better way to go... for him anyways!!

These nice smiles Caleb's giving me are thanks to an "Elmo's World" on cameras off of Sesame Street. Elmo wanted to learn all about cameras and after the show Caleb was going around the house telling us to smile and say, "cheese", after which he would make the clicking sound of the camera taking our picture. So I decided to try it on him, and was very pleased with the results!!

And these are the "big boy" underwear from Uncle Lijy, (my 5 year old brother).

Jacob's Walking!

Jacob's finally walking!!! For the record he was 14 1/2 months old. He's been walking for about 2 weeks now!
I must say, this has made me very happy!!

"Look what I found, Mom!"

"The lid won't stay on."

"I think somethings wrong with this box"

"It must be broken. This lid just isn't working!"

Graduation!!

Yay! Jared and I are both graduated now!! Jared graduated April 2009 and I graduated in July 2009!

We decided to walk together for commencement.

If you noticed our robes are different colors. Jared's robe is black because he graduated with a Bachelors degree. My robe is Navy blue because I graduated with an Associates.

Look at our future graduates!!

Here is Alissa and Jacob!

My family traveled to Idaho for our Graduation. Amie, Zack and Molly also came.

Here's everyone sitting in the Hart Auditorium for graduation. (Amber was there too but she's taking the picture!)
Although Jared and I have both completed our undergrads, we are still working on achieving a higher education. Jared is presently enrolled at BYU working on his Masters in Public Administrations, and after we've raised our children in righteousness and have taught them correct principles, I will continue on to get my bachelors. Making sure my children are brought up to know and love the Lord is my first priority right now.

Happy Birthday Jacob!

Jacob's First Birthday!

All the happy boys together.

And the happy birthday boy!

Caleb seemed pretty excited too!

I don't think Jacob even noticed that there was a flame on that candle.

He saw the frosting and took a little taste.

(scoops it up on his finger)

Yum, tastes good.

Jacob wasn't too excited about blowing out his candle...

...so we had caleb blow it out instead!

And here comes the fun part- getting messy!!

"Hey, This is pretty good!"

Caleb liked the frosting.

Jacob kept rubbing his eyes so he got frosting all over his right eye.

Caleb actually ate a little bit of his cupcake! And it looks like he's enjoying it very much.

Jacob being a ham!

Jacob started getting tired so we tried to turn it into a game of peek-a-boo.
"Peek-a-boo!"

Caleb had to play too!

"Peek-a-boo"
After cupcakes we went on a bike ride.

Cute & Silly Boy's

Here are some funny pictures that have been sitting around for the past couple months, waiting to be posted.

Caleb, and Jacob as well, love to wear Daddy's hats.

In this picture Caleb wanted to wear Daddy's shorts. So we safety pinned the back of them so they would fit his skinny body.

Getting ready for Church

" Hey! Did you just take my picture?"

"Let me see!"

Jacob's hair is getting really curly! When his hair is dry the curls are tighter.
Our Nutty Professor

"Wait, let me fix my glasses."

"There, that's better."

And his Nutty Side-kick!

My babies holding their babies and sucking on their beenkies.

Caleb: "Here baby take the beenkie"

"Maybe I can just ram it in there."

Memorial Day

I had a great time on Memorial Day. After sleeping in (8:00), we ate breakfast and went on a bike-ride to a nature park.
Then we unhitched the bike trailer and used it as a stroller so we could go on a little hike!

We spotted a couple bunnies!! Can you see it?

Then we stopped at the park and let the boys play.

Jacob loves to pull himself up on things and then let go! We think he's getting close to actually walking!

He also loves to clap his hands!

Peek-a-boo!

This was probably the only time both the boys were standing next to each other at the park.

Even Jared had a good time at the park digging in the dirt.

Jared even dug up a worm.

Caleb didn't like it too much, at least he tried to keep his distance from the worm.

But Jared liked the worm!
ewwww!!!!
just kidding, he didn't really eat it.

Caleb going down the slide.

Jacob going down the slide.

I think caleb liked the slide better then Jacob did!

Caleb testing out his skills!

And Jared working out his muscles!

Easter In Cali #1

So while Jared was in Alaska for two weeks (pictures soon to come), I decided to go to california to help pass the time that I'd be away from my beloved! We, myslef and the boys, visited for about 6 days. In all acutality it was only 4 days since the 1st and 6th day were spent traveling. But still, no matter the time, it was still very enjoyable and it makde the 2 weeks away from Jared go by faster.

After church, we all gathered in the back to take family pictures!

Here's Audre, 5 days away from delivery! Audre had her baby girl on April 18th, (pictures are soon to come). From left to right there's Jasmine (2), Alijah (5), Audre, Grandad holding Jacob (10 months), and me.

This is my grandpa, Grandpa Glenn. So all these litte babies are some of his Great-grandbabies! Left to right: Jasmine (almost 3), Molly (10 months) Grandpa Glenn, Caleb (2), and Jacob (10 months).

Uncle Andy and his two, twin baby niece and nephew! Andy is 16 years old now and can't get all the girls to stop following him!! Posted by Picasa

Easter in Cali #2

I think Caleb's favorite thing in Cali., aside from Uncle Lijy, was riding this lawnmower!! There was also a little kiddy jeep that he loved riding but I didn't get a picture of that.

Caleb was really good at hunting for the easter eggs!

Caleb got lot's of eggs! The basket that I am holding is Jacob's basket.

Here's Grandad with his two grandsons! Nana bought Caleb and Jacob matching outfits for Easter!! Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday Caleb!!

A big sorry to all those who follow our blog for not being better at putting up posts!!
So a month ago we celebrated Caleb's 2nd Birthday!

This is Caleb's little friend Lea.

They both blewout the candles so Caleb wanted to do it again. And just a side note, No he did not lite the candle himself. The lighter Caleb is holding does not work anymore, plus it also has a safety feature that I can barely get to work myself.

Posted by PicasaThe funniest thing about these two is that they Kiss!!! I tried to take a picture of it but my camera took too long and they were done kissing by the time I got the camera to take!

Wintering

These pictures are actually old pictures that I forgot to post!
So we were at wal-mart getting some warm clothes for Jared and the Boys, and this is what we found...

A coat for Jared that matched a brown corderoy jacket of mine, (o.k. so it's not really warm but he liked it)

and a nice snow suit for Caleb!! ( he already had the snow boats to go with the suit).

He wasn't too excited about trying it on, but he really enjoyed sledding in it. Caleb actually prefers to just be pulled around in the sled rather then really sledding down a hill.

I just thought this one was funny. Jared and Caleb drinking their juice ba-ba's and eating pop-corn! (I think there was a movie playing as well.

Cooking Breakfast

Caleb loves to cook, especially eggs and pancakes!

Dad and Caleb like eggs for breakfast, so Dad was nice enough to let Caleb help him cook them!

"Smile for the Camera!"

Yum!!

O.k. They weren't really that bad!!

Posted by Picasa

Somersaults

Caleb decided to go off the bed head first the other day. So of course, I helped him do a somersault!

He first got really close to the edge...

then hung his head over the edge and put his hands down...

then let his legs fall over too!

He did some better somersaults but I didn't catch them on the camera. He does them all the time now!

Brotherly Love

Ohh, Caleb is posing so nicely for the picture! ...
... and got a little excited and decided to give Jacob some tough love.

But Jacob's o.k!; he's a tough kid.

Music

One of our favorite things about visiting Grandma and Grandpa Floyd is all the musical instruments! (Two instruments not seen in this post are the violin and Grandma's cello.)
Here's Dad and Grandpa. Jared is playing the guitar and Grandpa is playing the banjo!

This is a very cool instrument. It's called a dulcimor. It's kinda like a guitar layed down! It sounds like a muffled scotish-bag pipe, (according to Jared). It sounds very sweet to me. I've had the priviledge of playing it before!

Caleb really likes to play along when ever we whip out the instruments. He likes Mom's violin, Dad's guitar, Grandpa's banjo, and...

... also the piano. Caleb was adding a pretty descant to Amy's music!

Energizer Bunny

At the end of the day every one was pooped and ready to go back to the condo. All except for caleb that is.

He went around and around; going up the stairs and down the slide for probably a good 30 min.

Daddy with his two boys! Jacob went pee right through his clothes onto my pants and even had enough left over to make a little puddle on the sidewalk. So that is why he's not wearing pants in this pictures. Thank goodness the weather was 80 degrees outside!

Everyone sat at the park that caleb was playing at in the earlier pictures while we waited for Sarah to get a picture with Mickey mouse.
Posted by Picasa

Pooh Land

Caleb actually did get to go on some of the rides with us. He liked some but really didn't know what to think. He just kinda sat their soaking it all in with no real expression on his face just one of aw.
We took a break and let the kids get out of their strollers and run around at Pooh Lnad, I think it is called.
Caleb loves going down slides but he was a little hesitant to go down this one. I think it was because the slide was a tube and dark unlike other slides with no top on them.
So I gave him a helpful little push.

Aunt Sarah took lots of good pictures.

Our Chrismas view!

Oops. I got the posts messed up! This post was supposed to come after the post below it!

Here is the view off of the balcany! Down below is a pool with a water slide (really fun although I got water up my nose!) and off the the left below is a putt-putt golf course, which I was not very good at!

Caleb loved to sit out on the balcony!

my little dare-devil!

Florida!!!

This is the condominium that we stayed in for a week in Florida! Jared and I plan to model our home after this place!! He he he! (Maybe).
This is the entrance way when you first step in and the kitchen too.

Off to the left is the other section that I forgot to take pictures of! There is a closet with a washer and drier in it, a bathroom and another bedroom with two more beds in it.

Here is the dinning room off to the right of the entry way.

Here is one angle of the living room that has a balcany off of it!

And the living room! More pictures to come!

Merry Christmas

We celebrated Chrismas after Church on Sunday just before we left for Florida that way we wouldn't have to haul all the presents with us.

Caleb slept through most of his Christmas!

Claire was so cute! We got some good giggles out of her while she played with the boys. Unfortunately I didn't catch any of the other moments on camera!

Caleb finally woke up near the end of opening presents to answer the phone! that's a toy cell phone he has. Actually, it's Jacob's toy but I don't think he'll be getting it for quite a while. Thank goodness Jacob is too young to know any different!

This was one of Caleb's chrismas presents and I must say, I think it's his favorite!

Cutie Pies!

Jacob loved this xylophone! Luckily we managed to fit it in our luggage!

At least one of my boys smiles for the camera!

Caleb loves to snuggle up next to Jacob!

Caleb: "Hey Mom, you wanna smell my socks?"
Jacob: "Oh no!! Hold you're breath! They stinck!!"

Boys

Caleb was laying so cute nex to Jacob but whenever he saw the camer he jumped up to look at the pictures!

I finally got them laying next to each other but neither of them were smiling!

Christmas in the South

For Christmas this year Grandma Floyd had a fun Christmas planned for us!
We went down to Georgia and celebrated Christmas the Sunday before and then headed down to Florida and Disney World!! We enjoyed 70 and 80 degree waeather while Idaho got snow!! We swam in heated pools and sun bathed in swim suits, something I never thought I's be wearing in December!! The condo was nicer then my house and we (Jared and I) got the master bedroom!! Disney World was great too but I didn't get very many pictures of it! Caleb and Jacob were great through out the whole vacation! They did great in the car, on the plane, in their stroller's, but of course Caleb had his moments, but he planned them well so that it was tolerable for Mom, me. (!!)
Grandpa and Caleb fixing the toilet!

Caleb the handy-fix-it boy! Well, I should've expected that with a handy Dad and two handy Grandpa's!

And of course, Happy little Jakey-poo! I don't know what it is about the tongue but my boys always have their tongues hangin' way out!

Up to Mischief #1

So the other night Jared and I sat down to watch a movie together. The movie went well with no interuptions! Once the movie was over we realized that it was very quiet and we instantly thought, "Where's Caleb?!"
So we headed for the kitchen to see if he was playing with his pots and pans. As I came around the corner...

I found all of my recipe cards all over the floor and Caleb no where in sight.

Posted by Picasa
We came in a little further to see him sitting on the counter with his dessert on his lap! All of the dessert with sample bites all over it.

Up to Mischief #2

"OOH, a whole loaf of banana nut bread all to myself!"

"Mmmmmmm, so good!"

"Don't mind if I do!"

"Uh oh!!
Darn, I've been caught!"

Heaven Sent

I was just messing around with some of the special effects on my computer and thought this one turned out pretty cute!

Cell Phone

Caleb loves to talk on the cell phone! When ever Jared or I get on the phone Caleb runs to get his cell phone too!!
Beep, Beep Beep,

"I'm on the phone right now, Mom. Can this wait?!"

Caleb also loves his little brother! Caleb likes to lay next to, and sometimes on Jacob. But jacob doesn't mind he just laughs right along with Caleb. (They're already wrestling!!)

Posted by PicasaThey're both very ticklish as well!!

Happy Boys

What can I say - I've been blessed! My boys are happy boys.

Jared cut his hair really short a while ago and it's just now getting back to the point where he can kinda part it down the side like he used to. Personally, I think he looks better with it sweeped over to the side a little.

Jacob loves his bath time! He always smiles and giggles as I let the water run down his neck and chest!

Caleb is a joy too!! He can always make me smile!!

Happy, happy, happy!! I couldn't ask for more!

Wiped Out!

A while ago Jared and I borrowed our friends bike trailer - thing, so that we could go on a bike ride with the boys!

We had lots of fun, and the boys really liked it too. We went to a fast-food joint just a little ways from our house and got an ice-cream, but the boys were already alseep by the time we got there.

Ohhhh! How cute!

Chef Boy R- Dee

Caleb's favorite, and I mean favorite thing to do is cook! He loves to play with my pots and pans. Sometimes he wants to really cook and put his pan on the stove just like mommy does. And he'll stir...

and then add a little salt..

and then let it simmer!

Ta Da!! And it tastes delicious!!!

Peek-a-Boo!!

Caleb likes to hide in my closet and have me find him.
Sometimes when I take too long to find him, he'll poke his head out to find me!! He posed for me to take his picture too!

"Where are you Mommy?"

Jacob at 2 months old. He weighed 14.8 lbs and was 26 in. long. However at another check-up we just had for Jacob they said he was only 24 1/2 in. long. Anyways he's in 3-6 months clothes now. He's pretty much fat and happy! We have him giggling now when we tickle him! Fun times!!!

Caleb likes to lay next to Caleb and have me take their picture! He loves his little brother!

Jacob Thomas Floyd

We are pleased to announce
the arrival of our son
Jacob Thomas!
Born: June 5, 2008
Weighed: 8lbs 15oz
Length: 22in

Caleb doesn't look too pleased in this picture but he is fascinated with his little brother. Mostly with the eyes, ears, and hair. Surpisingly enough Caleb is rather gentle for a 14 month old.

Bath time wasn't too fun but Jacob only whimpered for a second.

"Smile!"

There's that cute little smile! Sorry the picture is soo fuzzy!
I still thought it was cute though, so I put it up anyways!

Mommy with her two little boys! Actually there are three, but the third one isn't so little!!!

Who's Who?

There are two pictures of Caleb and two pictures of Jacob. Can you tell which is which?

These aren't very cute pictures of Jacob but Caleb was being such a ham!

Little Dare Devil!

Caleb loves riding his horsey!!! Caleb can get on and off all by himself now.

Daddy and Caleb were playing cowboys together (notice the cowboy hats). It's daddy turn right now. Caleb is in the background waiting patiently. Actually he's probably thinking that's his horse not Dads, and Dad is a little big for Caleb's horse!!

For the most part, Caleb would ride his horse just like any other little child then one sunday afternoon...
He stands up on his horse and then starts rocking on his horse standing up! He did just fine and got down when he was all done.

Big Boy!

These Pictures are of Caleb when he was 12 months old. His hair looks red in these pictures but it wasn't really, just brown. However, it's getting blonde now from all the sunshine!
Caleb loves to help Mommy on the computer.

His favorite thing is turning on the music and playing with the volume.

He likes to type on the key board too!

These are just cute pictures of him!

Yes, there is a whole in his pants but this was where I first noticed it!!

Caleb was sitting there on the floor hugging his teddy bear and of course when we tried to take a picture he stops! Actually, Caleb thought we were telling him to fold his arms for prayer. So it still turned out as a cute picture!
He finally did hug his teddy bear for us too!

Baby #2

Here's the test of the day. Can you see the baby's face? You should be able to see one eye, the tip of his nose, and his lips. Hint: the features resemble that of an African-American! It must have Jared's lips !!

Baby #2 Update!

I'm not too fond of these pictures at all but I've had some requests to see how big my belly is. Here's baby #2! The most recent news is that he may be coming early! Well, technically "on-time" but earlier then we expected since we're all quessing on my due date. The doctors have measured him (the baby) at 3 weeks ahead of schedule for the last two doctor appointments. We had to do another ultrasound just to double check there wasn't anything wrong and he's perfectly healthy and normal. His brain and organ development is also showing 3 weeks ahead of what we planned and not just body weight and size, which means he may come around May 22nd!

A Prelude to Caleb's B-Day!

Caleb got three packages a couple of days before his birthday from all of his grandparents (and Great grandparents in this case). I was very interested to see what was inside them. But we only opened one though since it was quite his birthday yet. This is a hand-made card from my Nana.

He examined the pictures for a while and then...

...started laughing and acting all excited about it! It made me get excited to see how he would react to all his other presents. However none of his other reactions to the actual presents were this good! (The pics of his present will come later!)

A Prelude to Easter

We had just bought some of our easter eggs and I put some marshmallows in them for Caleb. He loved it! ...except for when he found an empty egg with nothing in it!He wasn't too happy about that.

He just rolled around on the floor eating his marshmallows!

Caleb actually didn't get to eat any candy easter morning because he had eaten a ton the night before! Jared and I made some easter baskets for visiting and home teaching, and to make those paskets Jared decided to male them on the floor and dump all the candy on the floor as well! So Caleb had quiet the hay day rolling around in the candy and eating it, wrapper and all while we tried to very quickly put all the candy away! Unfortunately there are no pictures from that event.

Caleb's Favorite Food

"Oh this is good!"

This is Caleb first time feeding himself Spaghetti!

I think he rather enjoyed it! That is feeding himself and the taste of the spaghetti!

"Hey, where's my plate?"

"Ummm, I wasn't done. You wanna give me my food back?! "

Silly Caleb

These pictures were taken by one of Caleb's babysitters, I can't take the credit for these pic's this time!

"Whoo!, It's hard work riding this horse!"

Silly Kid!

I don't know where he got this obsession with his tongue. There are more pictures and Calebhas his tongue out in all of then! Good thing it's cute!

"Wow! This stuff makes me feel kinda woozy!"

"Ta Da!!"

"Did you like my acting?

"I was just kidding about the woozy part, Mom"

Caleb loves to play with my cooking utensils; i.e. measuring cups, spoons, pots and their lids, etc. He especially loves the magnets on our fridge (that blue thing in his lap is a magnet).
He also loves fruit! Apples, oranges, banana's, etc. But of course he is never satisfied with the little bit we put in his mouth for him to bite off. He has to stuff as much in his mouth as possible!

Caleb Getting Big!

These are just some random pictures of Caleb. Just to show how much his growing and getting bigger/older.

Sledding!

In February, Jared took Caleb and I sledding!

When we got to the hill we saw college kids flying down the hill, going over jumps and some even falling off thier sleds or inner-toobs, whatever they were using. At the sight of that, I decided Caleb and myself would not being going down.

However, I did slide down the little bunny hill that had no jumps. I wasn't too excited about braking my water bag by going over jumps. Caleb went down with Mom and Dad too!

Caleb didn't smile at all the whole time we were there; but he didn't cry or show any sign of dissatisfaction either. So I'm not sure if he enjoyed his first time sledding.

Just look at that face! He must have been enjoying himself!

Baby #2's Due Date!

Sorry for any confusion about the due-date. There are two dates, one on the sonagram, and then a different date that I had typed underneath the picture in my comments. Here's what happened. Before the ultrasoud began, the nurse put-in to the computer all of my info. which also included my questimate or approximation of what the due date will be, June 14th. Then, during the ultrasound we took measurements of the baby and that's where the second due-date comes into play, June 6th. Either way, babys come when they're good and ready no matter what the doctors say when the baby should arrive, cause the doc's due dates are still questimates as well. But sorry for the inconvinence of confusion!

Curiosity Promoting Caleb's Play-time

Caleb loves to play with our radio!

He seems to be very curious as to how it works!

His favorite thing is turning the knobs.

While he was playing, I was trying to hide inorder to take the pictures, so as not to throw off his concentration/playing. However, there are two flashes on my camera which was very distracting for him and he became very interested as to where those lights were coming from. (FYI, Caleb is playing behind our big lazy boy recliner and I'm infront of the chair trying to hide from him!)...
......

But he found me!!!!...

and then also posed for a picture!!!

Good Morning!

This is a "good Morning" for Cousin Jasmine, to brighten her day in hopes that she'll be feeling better soon!!

Tools!

Daddy was using his drill for something and Caleb thought it was awesome!

He had to stop working for a drink of water. Drilling is hard work, ya know!

Guess What?

Baby #2 is on it's way! I'll let you try and figure out what it's going to be!

If you can't figure it out then I guess you'll just have to wait 'til June, June 6th is the due date!

"Can't touch this!"

When Caleb crawls around on the floor, sometimes he'll stop and look back at me. But to do this he lay's on his side and puts his arm on his side too, just like a model would. However, this time he grabed his butt and the phrase, "Can't touch this" went through my head and made me laugh! So i hope this brought a smile to your face as well!!

Hair Cut Time... Again

This is Caleb's second haircut, not trim but hair cut!I was so excited to see some curls in his hair that I just had to take a picture!
However, he kept trying to turn and smile for the camera! My camera flashes twice before it takes a picture. So everytime he saw the first flash coming from behind he would turn around.

I put Caleb in the sink with nothing on but a diaper when I cut his hair. It makes for easy clean-up.

I cut his bangs, around the ears and right along his neck line. I didn't want to cut the flippy curls 'cause I'm hoping the'll become perminant! But Calebs hair is getting long around the ears and on his forehead again. So I'll probably have to cut most of it so that he doesn't have long strans in the back! When Caleb's hair dries, he sleeps on it or wears a hat, the curls go straight.

Handy- Men

I have a house full of handy-men. Caleb trys to help out all the time!
Unfortunately, most of the time he is a hinderment to our progress! But we love him anyways!

Christmas Morning

For the most part Caleb liked the wrappings and the boxes.

He did like some of his gifts

... especially Uncle Lijy's!

Caleb had a fun time crawling through and on every ones trash!

Auntie Ber and Jasmine

Here's Audre, Amber and Jasmine opening presents!
I think we are a little spoiled. We open our christmas presents at my parents house and then right afterwards we run to Nana's house, which is only about 20 steps away from my parents back door, and open the presents from her!
Here is Nana with some of her Grandkids and great-grandkids. Nana has a total of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandbabies with 2 more on the way!

Christmas in California

Every Christmas my family acts-out the nativity story. This year Caleb got to be baby Jesus, and sitting next to him is the prego. Mary, played by Alissa. (She fogot to take out the stuffing after she had the baby Jesus!)

We wanted to get a picture of Caleb and Jasmine together in their sunday outfits from Nana but...

Caleb got distracted by Uncle Lijy's rice crispy!

Caleb stopped hounding Alijah for bites once we gave Caleb his own treat.

Then Caleb was willing to participate!

Jasmine wanted a bite too!

However, all she found was an empty wrapper.
"Ohhh darn"

Here's Jasmine and Caleb in their matching jamies from Nana. Caleb had a little trouble staying focused on the camera! So many people and things to look at!

It looks like Jasmine was getting tired of Caleb not smiling for the camera! hehehe!

Auntie Alissa and Caleb possing once again for a picture!

Uncle Lijy (Alijah) and Caleb wearing matching hats!

If I have the camera Caleb is there by my side in the
blink of an eye! His poses didn't turn out as cute as they usually do, but they're still cute
none-the-less. I think Caleb was trying to talk to me
as I was taking his pictures, or at least it sure looks like it!

A Who!

He's a little Who baby!
After Caleb's bath, I asked Jared if he wanted to do Caleb's hair.
This was the end product.

My Little Cutie!

I was sitting on in our living room just looking at some pictures on our camera when Caleb crawled over to me to see the pictures too. He likes the pictures of him, and he smiles and coo's at the baby in the picture. So he was in between my legs acting all cute for the camera so I started taking pictures!
Here is my little photo-genic baby! Enjoy!

Reading the Paper?

Caleb and Daddy readin' the paper together!
It didn't last long because Caleb likes to turn pages.
But it was cute while it lasted!

Thanksgiving Week

Caleb loves to pull himself up on things like the couch or a chair. But his favorite thing is the toilet. Jared and I are going to have to be more polite and put the toilet seat down so that Caleb can't play in the water!

We had a fun time taking pictures of Caleb in Grandpa's hat.

"OOOO, nice bike! Can I ride it Mommy?"

It may be pink and purple but Caleb sure liked that bike. Unfortunately, so did the little girl who owned it. She wasn't too fond of Caleb riding her bike. Once Caleb got off she took her bike away.

This is a C, C opperation; Caleb and Claire. Caleb really liked his new little cousin. At first he thought she was a little boring, but he grew to like her, especially when she would wiggle around and make sounds. In these pictures Caleb is one week shy of being 8 months old and Claire is 2 weeks old. (Although, by the time we left she was 3 weeks old.)

Caleb had a fun time with his Aunties. This was his first
time to meet Amy (left) and Sarah (right).

Here's Caleb with Grandpa Floyd. And Grandma Floyd is holding Little Claire.

Caleb has many new things, but this little face is the latest! He squints his eyes tight and shows his little tooth that he's seems to be very proud of!

Caleb has become quite the little goof-ball! He's growing up so fast. Just the other night Jared and I were watching him and thinking, "Who is this little guy?" He is developing quite a cute personality!

Tuesday, November 6, 2007

Here is Caleb's newest little cousin! Her name is Claire Erin Floyd. She was born on Halloween and weighed 7lbs 3 oz, I believe. Maybe it was 2 oz. Anyways, She is the daughter of Seth and Becca and we'll get to see them the weekend just before Thanksgiving! Caleb loves babies!
Caleb can really crawl now! It's not just an army crawl but actually on all fours; hands and knees! Sorry no pictures of it right now, just a movie, sortof.

Bath Time

Here's our little swimmer! Caleb loves to play in the water. He really likes to play with the plug. As you can tell he doesn't always like taking pictures!

A Little Tooth!

If you look very closely at the middle
picture you can see
the tip of Calebs first tooth. It hasn't completely
come in yet but it's really close!

Happy Halloween!

Caleb is going to be a little lion for halloween. He even likes to shake his head back and forth like a little lion would.

Thursday, October 18, 2007

We just got this high chair from our neighbors and it's the perfect height for Caleb to sit to the table with us. But mostly he just plays the piano. My visiting teacher gave us this hat and jacket cause we were having a hard time finding warm clothes that fit for CalebAs you can tell the jacket is still a little big but the hat fits perfect!

Just more pictures where he's actually smiling with his eyes open!

Playin' with Daddy

Here's Caleb and Daddy playing together with ... something, I'm not sure what. They were so cute together that I wanted to take a picture, but the flash was too bright for Caleb. And yes, Caleb can stand up now, but only if he's holding on to something!

This is my brother-in-law, Zack Fowler. Zack was in a terrible motorcycle accident and, as you can see from the picture, has lost most of his right leg from it. Zack and my little sister Amie, his wife, are trying to raise money to pay for his prosthetic leg. There is a link on the left hand side of the page under family blogs, and it's titled "A Bounty of Support". We invite all to visit and appreciate your help in anyway possible. Thank-you!!

More Pictures!

Caleb can sit up all by himself now!
