To help us get into the feel of Christmas, we made some Christmas cookies!
The boys also wanted an airplane and fire engine!
This was the Sunday before Christmas.
We tried out the Sunday clothes from Audie!
Then, during the week, I had them dress up again so we could get a family Christmas picture.
They were trying so hard to be happy and smiley so they could get their candy!
I promised them candy if they took good pictures for me.
"Cheese!"
Christmas Day!
I let them open their stockings before church, but they had to wait on the presents until after church!
These stuffed animals are from Grandmother!
Audre got them shoes!
Caleb's reactions were so fun to watch! He had so much energy in his expressions and voice that these pictures just don't do him justice!
But they'll have to do cause we didn't do a video.
And Abby got a purse from Audie.
She was being very careful or just slow at ripping off the paper that Caleb had to lean over and help her rip it off.
She had to get every little piece off.
Audre also collected a bunch of costume supplies for the kids!
A wizard or witch hat,
a sword, (luckily we had another),
Some armor,
Jared had him make a matcho-man face.
Turned out pretty cute!
Fight!
(Jacob closed his eyes!)
Caleb got Lightening McQueen and Francessco!
Jacob was excited for more books to read.
He was excited about a Captain America car and action figure, but he's more introverted them our extroverted Caleb. So Jacob just looked and looked and admired (no screams of excitement!).
Caleb was so excited for his Spider-man!
He had to show everyone.
(pushed right over Jacob's gift, "Look Jacob! Look!!)
It turned out that it wasn't just a purse from Audre!
There were sunglasses,
some bracelets and a ring too!
"OH ya!"
and a high pitched, "OOOO!"
Abby also got a baby stroller which comes everywhere with us!
Then we had yummy Christmas dinner!
Glazed ham, corn, candied yams, mashed potatoes, pistachio pudding, rolls, and some sparkling cider!
No pumpkin pies this time!
Merry Christmas!
